PCL-2000 Series Polycaprolactone Diols
The PCL-2000 Series represents a premium family of polycaprolactone diols synthesized via ring-opening polymerization of ε-caprolactone monomer. Engineered for demanding polyurethane applications, this series combines the advantages of conventional polyester, polyether, and polycarbonate polyols into a versatile, high-performance chemical intermediate.
With molecular weights ranging from 400 to 4,000 g/mol across 11 precisely engineered grades, each variant features exceptionally narrow molecular weight distribution, low acid values, and minimal water content for consistent processing behavior and reliable end-product performance.

- Microcellular Foams: Shoe sole midsoles, automotive interior foams, and specialty cushioning materials demanding resilience and compression set resistance.
Packaging, Storage & Handling
Packaging
Standard packaging in specialized painted steel drums (200 kg net weight). Small pails (20 kg) available upon request. Bulk delivery via ISO tank containers supported for high-volume requirements.
Storage
PCL diols are hygroscopic. Store in cool, dry, well-ventilated areas away from direct sunlight, air contact, moisture, and heat sources. Keep containers tightly closed and consume immediately upon opening. Recommended storage temperature: 10-35°C.
Shelf Life
12 months from date of manufacture when stored in original sealed packaging under recommended conditions.
Transportation
Protect against moisture, rain, mechanical shock, package damage, and contamination. Transport must adhere to relevant local chemical transportation regulations.
